TACGSOSA President felicitates with members.

Barr Solomon Alabi, President of The Apostolic Church Grammar School Old Student Alumni National body felicitates with members wishing them a memorable celebration, in the speech released this morning the President used the opportunity to task members to remember the essence and message of the season, which among is to give and live in love, he said further that the year has been a true blessing to the Alumni Community, we have reconnected with each other, built new relationships and have accomplished so much beyond expectations with love and determination.   

while wishing members a joyous Christmas he equally reminds them of the forth coming 60th anniversary of the school coming up in January 2024 with arrays of activities lined up to mark the celebration, he challenged members to be steadfast and committed to the alumni as event have shown that more can be achieved together.

As each of you settle into the holiday season, he prayed for an event free celebrations and advised members to be security conscious while enjoying the season.

TACGSOSA PAID CONDOLENCE VISIT TO THE ADEDOYIN’S

The Exco and welfare team of the alumni led by two former Presidents of the Alumni , Aremo Ademola Gbosibo (DOS) and Barr Chuks Nwachukwu (DOS) paid a condolence visit to the family of our dear late Principal and teacher Pastor Samuel Adeyemi Adedoyin at his residence at ketu. The team prayed to God to grant the family the fortitude to bear his sudden departure, while a condolence letter from the Alumni was also presented to the Adedoyin matriarch.

The Alumni awaits further information on the final burial rites.

TACGSOSA PAID CONDOLENCE VISIT TO LATE DR ADETOMIWA GEORGE’S HOME.

A condolence visit by the Exco to the family of Late Dr Tomiwa George took place on Wed March 9th 2022 and was led by the President F.O.J Omosa, among the entourage are lady Vp Mrs Joke Balogun, Engr Yinka Awolana, Mrs funmi Ojikutu,and Prince idris Ogunaike on behalf of the Alunmi.

The President who led the delegation also presented a condolence letter to the family.

The late Dr Adetomiwa George was a member of the board of trustees (BOT) and a holder of the title DOS (distinguished old student), which is the highest honour of the Alumni.

Dr Adetomiwa George was among the first set of members to form the Alumni and he played host to the Alumni meetings for 12 months. He will surely missed by us all.

We await the burial details from the family.

TACGSOSA FELICITATE WITH MRS ADEBUSOYE @ 70yrs.

Mrs Adebusoye once an English teacher at the Apostolic church grammar school, where she taught for so many years celebrated her 70th birthday over the weekend. To give the day a wonderful colouration the Exco and members of the Alumni were present to honour a wonderful teacher. She’s also the mother of Mrs Tope Ogunlela (nee Adebusoye), class coordinator of ’89 class, a vibrant member of the alumni and a philanthropist. As part of the event major highlights she was honoured with the school anthem which was sang by past students present, presentation of specially crafted cake with the school logo and showering of encomium by all.

Wishing her many happy returns in good health and sound mind.

This is in recognition of your academic contribution to research and development at the institute, we are indeed proud of you as a member of our association .

Professor Felix Kolawole Salako (DOS) Vice Chancellor,Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta is a Fellow of the Soil Science Society of Nigeria (FSSSN) and also a Fellow of the Agricultural Society of Nigeria (FASN) and a distinguished old student (DOS) of The Apostolic Church Grammar School.

Today marks the 57th Anniversary of our Great Alma mata.
We are grateful to Almighty God for the achievement the school has made in producing good ambassadors and still producing more.

Let me use this occasion to ask for a rededication to the upliftment of our great school through what we can do to the school using our Association “TACGSOSA” as the vehicle.
